We like to keep things simple in our office! There's no need for fancy this or that when it comes to removing fixations that may form within the joints of your body (subluxations).
Our primary adjusting styles include:
Diversified: This is what is referred to as general/traditional chiropractic adjustments without the aid of any special equipment.
Thompson/Drop: This is a great option for those who do not do well with traditional adjustments and helps remove fixations with the aid of a drop piece.
Activator: This is a great option for those who do not do well with, other, more forceful techniques. This technique relies on using information that your nervous system portrays through functional changes in leg length.
MET: This is a great option for those who do not do well with what is referred to as manual adjusting. This technique involves using Neuro-modulation in which to re-program how your brain receives information from your proprioceptors. Proprioceptors are just fancy little bundles of nerves that let your brain know where your body is in space. These little bundles of nerves are essential in how you propel your body through every motion that you can do, aiding in both posture and balance!
